Highly recommended to anyone with some knowledge of javascript. The lazy function definition and various other functional recipes are definitely worth a read and should be part of any javascript programmer's toolbox.

Best to start from the bottom of what looks like a big ladder (metaphorically referring to JavaScript). Though there are now better practices around as compared to some of the example, but it never hurts to know where n how to start. Recommended reads for experts n novice alike. Also don't miss out Crockford Lecture Series on JavaScript for Yahoo!
